Evaluating Ourselves may be a SOLUTION

Recently a survey report came out which says that India is the most dangerous country for women. This survey was conducted by The Thomson Reuters Foundation. After that a tweet from Rahul Gandhi came out which criticizes Modi government for the current situation. And just after that debate starts on every news channel on action by Rahul Gandhi after the report. But among all these debate very less news channels discuss the current scenario of India. Before believing that report blindfolded we have to look our own situation that really are we worst  in the world?

If you start comparing ourselves with other countries in the world you will see that we are not worst. It is just only the biased Interna media report which says so. Centre Government also refused that the report.

Here I am going to present some data which says that not only  India but countries like America and UK are also suffering from such kind of serious problem.

27% European things that rape may be acceptable in some circumstances. In USA nearly 20% women are victim of rape. In Europe 10% of women experience sexual violence before the age of 15. And in France about 4 million of women that is 12% of total women have experienced rape once in their life. These are just reported cases. But we all know that most of the cases goes unreported.

Not only India whole world is facing this problem. But the Biased International Media always criticizes India for being the most dangerous country for women forgot to look over the condition of women in their own countries.

I agree that there should be awareness about sexual violence among Children's and women. I agree that most of the cases of sexual violence in India goes unreported. But that does not make it worse country for women. There are lot of countries which are worse than India. Let's take some example. In Canada 91% of sexual assault goes unreported. In United Kingdom 80 percent of sexual violence cases goes unreported. In America data says that more than 90%of rape cases and sexual assault cases go unreported. Lot of report says that maximum part of sexual assault in America was conducted by  the police itself.

Like other part of the world, maximum portion of sexual assault or rape cases are also not reported in India too. But there are things happens in India which makes it different from the other Western countries. In india if men promise to marry women and then changed his mind then he will be charged with falsely  obtaining consent for sex.

In france the age of consent is set at 15 but the country does not have any law with defines sex with someone below a fixed stage as a rape. On the other hand india allows capital punishment for any convicted of raping children under the age of 12. India is a country which recognize marital rape and provide a definition of domestic violence that is comprehensive and includes all form of physical emotional verbal sexual and economic violence and covers both actual acts of such voilence and  treat of violence.

By presenting this data I does not mean that rape and sexual violence is not a big problem in India. My moto is just to divert your interest from comparing India from Western  countries to comparing our current situation with our previous situation.

This problem is not going to solve by looking at the debate on news channels or by criticizing our government or by supporting Rahul Gandhi's tweet aur by showing our anger on social media. This problem will be solved by Social awareness, looking ourself then and now.

We all know that India is now struggling with this serious problem and our government had made some big laws against this type of crime. But this type of cases are not reducing as we expected.
